The congregation at Hope have been dreaming about transforming their church for nearly thirty years and finally everything has come together to make it happen. The dream is that we can create a real heart of the community, and a safe space to welcome people and add to their lives.
The planned improvements will create secure, self contained, and accessible spaces for our commuity work and worship, nearly doubling the amount of useable areas that we have. This will give us so much potential to reach out and support even more people.
In addition to this, aesthetically we feel this is really going to add to the local environment. The new building will also be more energy efficient, helping to protect the planet and reduce our carbon footprint.
During the renovations, we'll still be worshipping together and all of our current activities will be continuing in other venues. This will be detailed in a further post, nearer to the time.
